Danielle Tetrault, LPC
Hi! I’m Danielle - a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Chicago native, lover of all things related to mental wellness/psychology, a first time mom, and a bonus mom who is trying to provide support, empathy, and care for those in need. I completed my BA in Psychology at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) and my MA in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
I have worked in the public school setting, residential treatment for children/adolescents, in-home behavioral health support for children and their families, and also in a hospital setting. I also have training in Applied Behavior Analysis and advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. Outside of work, I am enjoying being a girl mom and looking forward to spending time outside when the Midwest weather allows! I also enjoy baking, spending time with my family, and squeezing in a yoga class or walk whenever possible.
I enjoy using a variety of treatment approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and behavioral techniques, all tailored to each individual client. I believe I am someone you can trust in your most vulnerable moments and I have always wanted to help people and bring my passion for mental health treatment and advocacy into real world practice.
I look forward to meeting with you and finding the best way (or ways!) to support and encourage your wellness!
